Light at the End of the Tunnel...

and it's not an oncoming train!

This is the last week of the semester and I have one thing for and take one exam!!!

Then I have two weeks off! We are going to spend one of them in Rochester with my daughter, granddaughter, and friends. So, Christmas we'll be there. Then we'll go to RI for the New Year to be with Ray's family and our friends there.

We absolutely love it here at Gburg, but I am ready for a break from the studies.

When we return, I will not be the only one in school. Ray will be starting the Certificate of Theological Studies program, about which we're very excited.

Congrats! Once you've finished your first semester, it's all cake.

OK, not quite 'cake,' but the following semesters are easier than the first!

That's what everyone says, Beth. This semester, two courses were the most work intensive--1 of which was Greek. Blessings.

And this time next year, you will look back and see how truly far you have come. It will not seem like only a year. Blessings for your break!

Thank you, Law and Gospel. You know how we're always to be prepared when asked about the hope within us...well, I have learned a lesson. While here in Rochester, a pastor friend called and asked me to preach for him this Sun. My laptop and all resources are in G-burg. Here I am at the public library, working on a sermon. Peace.
